Privacy Policy

Thanks for visiting BonusNewZealand.com. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs), and what rights you have if you contact us.

1. Who is responsible

The entity responsible for handling personal information collected through this website is:

2. Information collected when you visit the site

If you simply browse the site without contacting us or submitting information, we only collect the data your browser automatically transmits to our server. This information is technically necessary for us to display the site to you and to keep it stable and secure:

• IP address
• Date and time of the request
• Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
• Content of the request (the specific page)
• Access status / HTTP status code
• Volume of data transferred
• The website the request came from
• Browser, operating system and its interface, plus the language and version of the browser software

This data is stored in the log files of our hosting provider and is deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest, unless a security-related incident requires it to be kept for longer.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider. Any personal information captured on this website is stored on that provider's servers. The provider acts only on our instructions and is bound by contract to keep the data confidential and secure. Servers may be located outside New Zealand, in which case we take reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient handles the information in a way consistent with the Information Privacy Principles.

4. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies, or no cookies at all. Technically necessary cookies support the basic functionality of the site, for example remembering display preferences. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, or block them from being set altogether.

5. Affiliate and advertising links

This website uses affiliate links to online casinos and other gambling operators. When you click such a link, the request first passes through our redirect domain go.bonusnewzealand.com and continues from there to the destination site. In the process, an attribution may be stored via a cookie or a URL parameter so the advertising partner can credit the referral to us. This costs you nothing extra. We rely on this arrangement to fund the site.

6. Fonts (Google Fonts)

To display typefaces consistently, this site loads external fonts from Google Fonts (provider: Google LLC and its affiliates). When you open a page, your browser downloads the required fonts into its cache so text is rendered correctly. To do this, your browser has to connect to Google's servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google. More information is available in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Contacting us by email

If you contact us by email, the details you provide are stored so we can deal with your enquiry and any follow-up questions. We do not use these details for marketing and we do not disclose them to third parties unless we are required to do so by law.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you:

• Access – you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you (APP 12)
• Correction – you can ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete (APP 13)
• Deletion – you can ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold
• Anonymity – you can deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym where practicable (APP 2)
• Opt out – you can ask us to stop using your information for any direct marketing (APP 7)
• Complaint – you can complain to us about how we have handled your information

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@bonusnewzealand.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

9. Data security

While you are using this site we apply the widely adopted SSL/TLS protocol at the highest level of encryption your browser supports. You can tell a connection is encrypted because the address bar switches from "http://" to "https://" and a padlock symbol appears in your browser.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time so that it continues to meet current legal requirements or reflects changes to our services. The version published here applies from the moment you next visit the site.
